Cute overload meets rock music.  It’s like Toronto-based band Secret Broadcast knows me.

You have to give it up for a band who understand how to craft a straight-up melodic rock song with grunge garnish and Britrock sensibility of the Pulp persuasion.  With a deepened commitment to honesty and crafting songs meant to connect on their latest release, Filthy Souls, Secret Broadcast are poised for breakthrough.

But don’t let the hard rocking sound fool you; these guys have a soft spot… for kitties.  Specifically, the cats of the Toronto Cat Rescue.  Teaming up with the organization to promote the cause, Secret Broadcast‘s latest video for single “More Than Friends” is a festive feline birthday party, loaded with lovable rescues who roam, cuddle, play and mow down on kitty cake.

Great song, great cause — you really can’t go wrong here.
