Swedish melodic death metal has not been the same since the arrival of Amon Amarth in 1998.  With their debut Once Sent From The Golden Hall, the band has not only established themselves as a force of musical reckoning, but also as a band with a gift for storytelling rooted in Norse mythology.

Nearly a year after the release of their ninth album, Deceiver of the Gods — the band’s highest charting album to date — North American fans should be thrilled by news of a fall tour, supported by Sabaton and Skeletonwitch.  Kicking off in California in September, the band promises to “take no prisoners”.  We’d expect nothing less of these masters of their craft.
