Canadian Music Week 2013 brought a significant number of incredible Australian artists to Toronto — Amanda Merdzan and The Falls merely two of many — and this fall, they aim to return the favour.

An internationally focused music conference, BIGSOUND features keynote speakers, industry connects and of course, fantastic music.  Rounding out the Canadian contingent are five artists that have been making serious sonic waves:  OTM darlings Sidney York, Yukon Blonde, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, Your Favorite Enemies, and Saidah Baba Talibah.  All five acts will be featured on stage at CIMA’s Canadian Blast.

Taking place in Brisbane, Australia, BIGSOUND 2013 may be an event centred upon the industry, but there’s plenty of live performances for music fans to savour.  Details and tickets are available via the official website.
