OTM’s Guide to #CMW: Sunday, March 24, 2013

Thousands of artists… An impossible mission.  How does one choose between so many aural pleasures?  How does a music writer manage to see as many of them as possible without exploding?

It’s not an easy task for anyone, let alone the music enthusiast.  With so many shows spread across a large city, sacrifices must be made.  That’s why OTM is here to spotlight top picks for each night.  From alt-rock to electronic and back to grungey punk garage band, OTM has your fix of music picks.

One last day… Make it count!

OTM’s Picks For Sunday, March 24th:

Rebecca Raabis (5pm, The Central)
Sounds Like:  Katy Perry without the ridiculous “kissing girls” nonsense: danceable and fresh.

Blackie Jackett Jr. (9pm, Rivoli)
Sounds Like: Smart-assed, country-twisted rock.

Scott Kempner (10pm, Rivoli)
Sounds Like: Whiskey-drenched, gritty blues rock.

Glen Matlock (11pm, Rivoli)
Sounds Like: Never mind the bollocks, this is Glen Matlock. I shouldn’t have to tell you he’s a legend.

Don’t forget:  OTM has tons of loot to share with music fans!  Follow us on Twitter (@OTMidnight) for random giveaways and RT our coverage of CMW or enter online to win!  Tomorrow is the big draw for the loot bag, so get your entries in!
