Montreal’s Motel Raphaël have built a burgeoning fanbase in just over a year, and with good reason.  Their indie-pop sound is right on target for the current music scene — think of the lovechild of Adele and Jenny Owen Youngs, perhaps.  Their first video is for track “Ghosts”.  Peppered with handclaps, the song has a deceptively cheery veneer but the lyrics reveal a tale of troubled love and fears of infidelity — the ‘ghosts’ of relationships past.
