Recently at work, a coworker and I were discussing the alternate versions of this song created for the Scream movie trilogy, and how we pretty much universally agreed that the original stomped all over them.  The lyrical switches make sense for the films, but they lose the point of the song’s true meaning, and its biblical allusions.

Speaking of Scream, they’re making a fourth.  WHY????!!!!!!
