365 Days of Music: Day 318

There is often a moment for those who hit hard times in their life where faith is utterly dissolved, or at least called into serious question.  This is more true for Christian faiths, where God is portrayed as someone who answers prayers, who provides help and comfort.  But what if there is no comfort?

This song deals with that mental struggle incredibly well…  It struck me recently as it played for the first time in years.

Where was love when I, felt like hate?
Where was hate when I felt like love?
Where were you when you said you’d be there?
Where was the fear when I said I was scared?
