God, I heard this song via iTunes shuffle the other day and almost laughed, I was so giddy to hear it.  It is probably one of my favourite one-hit wonders (two-hit, merhaps?) aside from Video Killed The Radio Star by The Buggles.  Is it the poppy ballad combined with epic curly 80s hair?  Is it the simple acoustic guitar bridge that’s almost flamenco?  I can’t say.  But it’s definitely a song I will always enjoy.

Sometimes, keeping it simple works.
