Day 5 of Cyndi’s week features a song that is very personal to Ms. Lauper, and incredible to behold live, as seen in the official video released for the single.

The song is a tribute to a friend who passed away, the story of his life from Cyndi’s eyes.  As she describes, she wanted to write him a song that was similar to That’s What Friends Are For, one of his favourites.  Instead, she took a different direction.  The result will give you chills.
