365 Days of Music: Day 277

Posted late due to G20 – Man, my job was fun last week! *eyeroll*

The most influential and important song for the year 2000 remains one of my favourite songs of all time.  It inspired my tattoo on my back, and has been a song I have always returned to, no matter what the circumstances,  Possibly one of the most brilliantly composed pieces of music ever, it haunts me.

I remember when I first heard this song, back in 1998.  I saw the video, and was drawn in immediately.  At turns disturbing and terrifying, it also bespoke strength and determination against the worst odds.  I could relate.  I will always relate.
