Jakalope is one of those bands that next to no one I know has heard of, and it’s a shame.  Newest album aside (the new lead singer blows), Jakalope blends an almost child-like innocence in vocals with darker themes and poppy-industrial sound, all carefully tooled by Dave Ogilvie, he who produces Marilyn Manson, with guest stints from heavyweights like Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails (another band with whom Dave has worked).

It’s so hard for me to choose a track from either album as a first taste for Jakalope virgins, but this one never fails to get me into a groove…  So let’s start here….
