Sometimes, the classics are all I want.  I dismiss the Arcade Fire and Tori Amos, and reach back through the years for the comfort of a voice and a song that still speaks decades later, still resonates. This is one of those classics, one of those songs that I never fail to stop, listen to and think, “That is so painfully true that it suckers me in the gut.”
