As my fellow Buffy addict Suze and I discussed last night, Joss Whedon’s best and brightest star is this feminist gem that both entertained and enlightened, often without the viewer truly grasping the complex issues at play beneath the witty repartee and drama.  Joss has a gift, and when he’s given free reign and a stellar cast up for the task, he creates beautiful work.  It’s so easy to pull individual episodes out of sequence and see them through fresh eyes and perspectives.
