Gossip:  it’s a bitch, but instinctive and innate.

Humans inherently love to talk.  And sometimes, they simply talk too much instead of allowing things to happen.  It’s often wiser to leave well enough alone, to respect a silence.  Our celebrity-obsessed culture teaches the very opposite, and coupled with the reality TV that swarms us, how can we choose to turn away from the whispers and remain decidedly ignorant of others’ affairs?

There are times when silence is violent, times when we should speak up.  The private relationship between two consenting law-abiding adults isn’t one of them.
